Gavin is the adopted son of Dr. Lyra Westover. He was taken in by Chris Valic, a friend of his mother's, after she disappeared following the events of season 1. Now an adult, he is a law student at Georgetown with a keen interest in the occult. He is nominally aware of his mother's involvement with Delta Green, having been informed upon recruitment into the organization.
